We’ve all been told to eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper. But that never really happens in real life because Filipinos like to channel their inner King Robert Baratheon no matter which meal of the day it is.
If you think indulging in hearty food shouldn’t be limited to just the first meal of the day, IHOP is totally with you on that! In fact, they’ve come up with a brand new menu to give you more options when it comes to eating out for lunch and dinner.
In addition to IHOP’s classic dishes, you now get to order from a wider selection of well-loved American entrees plus you also get to enjoy items that have been specifically made just for the Philippines! BBQ Liempo, Cheesesteak Sandwiches, and Waffle Burgers are just some of the new things you can fill up on at IHOP.

If there’s one thing Filipinos absolutely can’t resist, it’s shiny, tender chunks of barbecue. While IHOP may seem like the last place to look if you’re craving for this favorite local staple, they’ve made sure to include it in the new menu! Order up the BBQ Liempo (₱245) for a comforting serving of sweet barbecue-glazed pork belly served with papaya chutney and steamed rice.
For some seafood to balance out your liempo, IHOP has a new tilapia dish on the menu, a version that’s a little bit spicier and more exciting for our taste buds. By ordering up the new Cajun Tilapia (₱245 for 1 piece; ₱295 for 2 pieces), you get fillets of cajun-spiced tilapia topped with diced tomatoes and parsley and served with steamed broccoli and rice.
IHOP has always been known for its signature Chicken & Waffles but there’s now another chicken dish you can sink your teeth into! A plate of their new Cordon Bleu (₱265) gives you breaded tender chicken, ham, and cheese fried to a golden brown crisp, smothered with a rich cream sauce, and then served with rice and buttered corn.
As for pasta, it’s something we’re going to see a lot more of at IHOP. And one of the many new variations you can slurp on is the Chicken Parmesan with Pasta (₱225). Atop a bed of al dente spaghetti noodles rest strips of breaded chicken fillet made flavorful and comforting with marinara sauce and grated parmesan cheese.
One of the most comforting things that’s ever been known to mankind is the combination of meat, cheese, and bread. And now you can treat yourself to just that at IHOP. Grab a Cheesesteak Sandwich (₱355) to enjoy grilled steak, onions, and melted American cheese held together by a warm grilled roll.
Another new sandwich variant you can treat yourself to is the Tuna Melt (₱325), a combination of savory tuna, mayonnaise, diced onions, melted mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, encased by toasted sourdough batard.
And for the craziest addition to the IHOP line-up, there’s the Waffle Burger (₱395)!
In between two crisp Belgian waffle buns, you’ll find a juicy, 100% beef patty along with flavor and texture compliments of bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a sunny side up egg.
This new entry is the winner of the International Dine Chef Competition where IHOP chefs from all across the globe competed to develop unique culinary creations in line with IHOP’s mission of spreading happiness.
All of IHOP’s new sandwiches and burgers are served with your choice of seasoned fries or seasonal mixed fruits.
Now you know where to go for your next company lunch out or barkada dinner! You can head over to IHOP’s branches in UP Town Center, Araneta Center, W Global Center, Century City Mall, and SM Mall of Asia to experience everything new they’ve got in store for you.
