So… trick or treat?
Nah, we’re just kidding! There are no tricks here, just a lot of yummy treats. A lot of yummy sweet treats to be exact! There are eight places here in the metro where you can get Halloween-themed donuts, cakes, and even froyo. Expect to find some creepy crawlers, wiggling worms, and oozing blood on these desserts.
There’s a whole lotta love for all things pumpkin too. And you know what’s gotten everyone, especially coffee addicts, really excited? It’s because one of Starbucks’ most loved international flavors finally (or should we say FINALLY!!!) made it to our shores!
Let’s start our rundown of this year’s spooktacular desserts with Baskin-Robbins. Ever since it opened in 2014, it’s become one of our go-to places whenever the ice cream cravings hit. It’s just so exciting to see the variety of flavors they offer in their pretty pink stores! Sure, it makes picking the right flavor a lot harder but who’s complaining?
For this year’s Halloween, Baskin-Robbins offers two different kinds of sweet treats. If you got a yen for ice cream cakes, they have four adorable monster-themed cakes. You can choose between the Witch Cake, Spider Cake, Mummy Cake, and the One-Eyed Monster Cake!
Baskin-Robbins also has four milkshakes for those looking for something cool and sweet to drink. There’s the Witches Brew, which is made up of their Cotton Candy and Love Potion #31 ice cream flavors. There’s also the Skeleton Polish, which is made up of Pralines N’ Cream and Jamoca Almond Fudge.
Cookie dough and cookies n’ cream fans will surely enjoy the Cobweb Shreds, while those who love the classic combination of berries and chocolate should order the Monster Mash.

One thing you should know about llaollao by now is that it’s pronounced as yao-yao. One thing you probably didn’t know is that it’s actually a Spanish brand that opened on that side of the world back in 2009. Another thing you probably didn’t know either is that it has a Halloween-themed Sanum on the menu!
Aptly named the Spooky Sanum, it still follows the usual Sanum formula of fruit, crunches, and sauce. For fruits, it has three different kinds: watermelon, dragon fruit, and melon. It also has Koko Krunch and crushed Oreos for crunches and two kinds of sauces, Mixed Berries Sauce and a mystery Black Sauce. To finish it all off, you get yummy strawberry poppers that explode in your mouth when you bite them!

3. J.CO Donuts & Coffee
Coffee and donuts are a match made in sugary heaven and no place knows that better than J.CO. For this spooky season, both their donuts and coffee drinks got some ghostly fun makeovers. There are two Halloween-themed donuts on the menu: the spider-inspired Choco Long Legs and the green-faced One Eyed Jack!
For those who enjoy J.CO’s Frappes, the classic White Chocolate Frappe has been given a Halloween look as well, complete with some googly eyes!

4. Krispy Kreme
Another famous donut brand on our list that’s serving up some adorably spooky sweets is Krispy Kreme! There are nine donuts in total that you can choose from so filling that one dozen box shouldn’t be a problem.
Here are the nine monster-inspired donuts Krispy Kreme has this year: The Owl, The Ooze, The Brain (it looks pretty realistic if you ask us!), Halloween Sprinkles, The Tombstone, The Orange Monster, The Black Cat, The Scary Eye, and The Pumpkin.
These nine donuts are only available until November 1 so make sure to head to your nearest Krispy Kreme to try them out!

5. M Bakery
M Bakery might be the new kid in town but it sure didn’t waste time joining all the fun! Both the kids and the kids-at-heart will enjoy M Bakery’s Halloween Cupcakes. These cupcakes come in either a chocolate or vanilla cupcake base topped with chocolate or vanilla buttercream. If you want something a lot more fun and quirky, M Bakery also has four monster-themed cupcakes: the Mummy Cupcake, Eyeball Cupcake, Ghost Cupcake, and a Boo! Cupcake.
These seasonal treats are available only until November 3 so make sure to grab a cupcake or two (or more) really soon!

6. Sebastian’s Ice Cream
Whether it’s for summer, Halloween, or Christmas, Sebastian’s Ice Cream never fails to surprise and impress with its creative seasonal flavors. This year’s Halloween flavors are no exception and this time, Sebastian’s brings us three 60’s monster movie-inspired ice cream flavors!
There’s Revenge of The Nerds 3, which is a bubblegum-flavored ice cream loaded with (you guessed it) rainbow nerds and mini marshmallows. Chocolate and gummy worm lovers will surely enjoy the second flavor, which is called Worms Infestation.
If those two flavors don’t have enough candy for you, then go for Trick or Treat XIV! It’s a dark chocolate and caramel ice cream with chocolate crunch, peanut butter cups, gummy worms, and chocnut topped with a blood red caramel ripple.
Take note that these flavors are only available until Halloween day itself so make sure you go grab a scoop before that day ends!

Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice is finally here in Manila. We repeat (and in caps lock, no less): STARBUCKS’ PUMPKIN SPICE IS FINALLY HERE!
We’ve asked and waited for so long and now we’re just so excited that Filipinos can finally taste and experience the hype! And we get not one, not two, but three ways we can enjoy the pumpkin spice. So whether you’re up for a latte, an iced latte, or a frappuccino, Starbucks has got you covered.
All three drinks are available in all branches starting from October 25 until supplies last!

8. Workshop Bespoke Bakery
Workshop Bespoke Bakery found a new home when The Grid opened in Powerplant Mall. It’s also where you can find Workshop’s Halloween-themed cakes, which will be available only until October 30.
Among the mini cakes you can find in Workshop’s picture-perfect dessert selection are the Poison Apple (Snow White-vibes, anyone?) and the Bewitched, which is made up of a vanilla mousse, brownie, and an ube sauce center.
If mini cakes just aren’t enough for your appetite and you want something more filling, go for the 17-layer Bloody Velvet Cake. Yes, you read that right! Can your stomach handle it?
Workshop Bespoke Bakery can be found inside The Grid, 2/F Power Plant Mall, Amorsolo Drive, Rockwell Center, Makati.
