5 Places In Metro Manila Where You Can Drink Chocolate Shake With Your Peter Kavinsky

Be honest, how many times have you Netflixed “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”? Three, maybe four times? Well, there’s no shame in that–we’ve all watched and rewatched it to soak in every last juicy detail of Lara Jean and Peter’s blossoming romance!

If you were paying really close attention, you might have noticed a little something about Peter. The tall, beautiful boy loves his chocolate shake! It was his drink of choice every time he hung out with LJ at the Corner Cafe.

If there’s a Peter Kavinsky in your life and you’d like to treat him to a delicious chocolate shake, here are a few spots in the metro that know how to make the drink really well. Cheers to young love!

1. Casa Verde

Casa Verde brings a whole new definition to walwal. When you want ribs, they’ll give you a huge, meaty slab. When you want a burger, they’ll give you a one-kilo patty sandwiched in between ginormous buns. And when you want a chocolate shake, they’ll give you the Milky Way.

This thing is no joke. It comes in such a tall glass you’d have to stand up just to take a sip! Needless to say, it’s impossible to finish it on your own. No worries though because it’s served with plenty of straws so everyone around the table can share.

Casa Verde can be found at these locations.

2. Kandle Cafe

When you’re in work mode and need to get a ton of stuff done, Kandle Cafe is the perfect spot to hit up. The interior’s beautiful, the vibe’s chill, and most importantly, the coffee’s good. Before you know it, you’ve checked off every item on your to-do list!

But on days when you don’t need to adult, ditch the caffeine and go for a drink that’s a little more…easygoing. Like their Chocolate Milkshake! It’s rich, creamy, packed with flavor, and best of all, it’s not going to keep you up at night.

Kandle Cafe can be found at 113 Mother Ignacia Ave., South Triangle, Quezon City, Metro Manila.

3. Lazy Bastard

When you’re at Lazy Bastard, you can’t be thinking about your diet. Nope, you have to let your inner slob loose so you can fully enjoy the experience! That means ordering up one of their fat, juicy burgers and paring it with their Thick AF Chocolate Milkshake!

By the way, when they say thick AF, they really mean it. Norman Lester T. confirmed this in his looloo review, saying: “I loved its consistency and sweetness. It is the milkshake that can make you fat in an instant, but you’ll still drink it as it’s yummy.”

4. Pound by Todd English

We all know that at Todd English, you ALWAYS make room for their OMG Chocolate Cake. This famous dessert is so decadent that eating it almost feels wrong (not that that’s going to stop us from devouring the entire thing).

ICYDK, Pound by Todd English has the same dessert on their menu but in drink form! Called the OMG Milkshake, you get the same delicious chocolate + vanilla ice cream combo in every sip. It’s the perfect order if you want to ward off the umay as you eat your burger!

Pound by Todd English can be found at these locations.

5. Sweet Ecstasy

If you’ve been looking for something to get high off of, let it be the burgers at Sweet Ecstasy. The patty’s flavorful, the buns are pillowy soft, and the secret sauce is just as addicting as any drug out there. But of course, what’s a meal at Sweet X without an order of their famous milkshake!

The Chocolate Milkshake has been a favorite among customers because of how simple but delicious it is and how it pairs perfectly well with their savory burgers.
